Sydney Harbour.
A bucket list sailing destination.
We invite you to join us on this magnificent stretch of water in January 2025 for the B14 Nationals and Worlds, being held in conjunction with the Musto skiffs.
Sydney Harbour is where the B14 was born, designed in 1986 by Julian Bethwaite, who incorporated many features from the famous 18ft skiffs which he raced in sight of the Harbour Bridge.
Woollahra Sailing Club is on the land of the Birrabirragal people, who are the traditional custodians of the land on which the club is located. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
During the 2000 Olympics, WSC played an important role in the sailing events, hosting many international teams. The British sailing team trained at this club and took home 3 gold and 2 silver medals.
People have been enjoying the harbour for tens of thousands of years. Why not get with the strength and be one of them?
And you don’t have to stop there. Sydney is a great gateway to this antipodean continent.
Australia is as diverse as it is vast. There is seriously something for everyone. Whether you are into amazing natural landscapes, ancient culture, unique wildlife, hip inner-city locations, or amazing food (think Mod-Oz, Asian fusion), we’ve got you covered.
Join us for the Sydney Worlds. We promise an amazing venue for competitive fleet racing, with plenty of social activities with new and old friends as well.
Come and say G’day!
Lissa
